Procedure

• During your consultation your dentist will determine whether invisible aligners are the right treatment for you. Once it’s decided that they are the right choice for you, your photographs and impressions of your teeth will be taken. This will allow us to plan the treatment.
• These records will be sent to the lab and you will receive details of the approximate duration of treatment along with feasibility. In the next appointment scan is taken and the video of the process is shared and discussed. Any changes as required are customised following which aligners are fabricated.
• The aligners can be provided wholesome which are to be changed in the convenience of your home every two weeks.

How many hours in a day do I wear the aligners?
Once your treatment starts, you will have to wear it for at least 18-20 hours a day until your treatment gets over. Remove your aligners while having food.

Is maintenance of Invisible aligners difficult?
No, it’s not difficult, you can clean your aligners using a toothbrush and soap solution, rinse them in lukewarm water. Make sure the water is not hot, otherwise the plastic will melt.

While having food make sure to keep the aligner in a box and after food thoroughly rinse your mouth before putting in the aligners

You can also make use of cleaning crystals to keep your aligners clean. You can buy these crystals online or get it from your dentists.

Are aligners a painful procedure?
It is absolutely a pain free procedure. You might feel slight discomfort in the beginning. This discomfort which is typically described as pressure like feeling disappears in a couple of days.
