DR SUMANTH SHETTY
Chisel dental clinic was founded by Dr Sumanth M Shetty in the year 2004. Having completed his BDS from M.S Ramaiah Dental College and Research centre, Bangalore in the year 1999. His interest in all aspects of dentistry led him to pursue his masters in Paediatric Dentistry that covers all fields of Dentistry. He did his MDS Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, from the esteemed Bapuji Dental College, Davangere, Karnataka, India. He was serving as a Professor in the department of Paediatric Dentistry. He is a practicing Implantologist. In the year September 2009 to May 2010, he has successfully completed the Nobel Fellow Program in “ Implant and Aesthetic Dentistry” conducted by the prestigious “Nobel Biocare, Sweden”. He is also certified in Complicated Sinus Lift Procedures and Advanced Full Mouth Rehabilitation from Osstem, Lisbon and Osstem, Jakarta respectively. The most recent of his Continuing Dental Education Programs include “ Advanced Education In Implant Dentistry” from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA in July 2019.
Dr Shetty has also always been interested in travelling and absorbing new cultures and perspectives and combining CDEs with new travel places has become a way of life now. He likes to wind down by off-roading. Hiking and Camping are other things that keep him engaged in his personal time.

Dr Rashmi Shetty having completed her graduation (BDS) in the esteemed JSS Dental College and Research Centre, Mysore in the year 2004, further pursued her post graduation – Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in the field of Endodontics (Root Canals) and Restorative Dentistry (Cosmetics/Restorations/Laminates) from another established Institute – SDM College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka in the year 2009 clearing with university rank. Her interest in covering all aspects of Aesthetic Dentistry further led to her pursuing latest advancements in Dentistry acquiring certifications in “Inman Aligners” and “Clear Aligners”. She is also a practicing Aesthetic Dentist.
As she shares; Having two young kids; time with them sharing their experiences and absorbing their growth is something that she cherishes the most in the time away from work. An avid reader; keeping track of the latest on the bookshelves is something that keeps her busy whenever she finds the time off. Long treks along nature trails and solo travels are a favourite pastime.
